PHOENIX -- Veterans who have served in the southwest Asia combat zone since 9/11 are eligible to register for a free stay at a world class golf resort in Cabo San Lucas.
Resort spokeswoman Joan McKillip said that they've teamed up with The Homefront Cares, a veterans support group, to offer up to seven nights and eight days of accommodations at the resort and free greens fees for the duration of the stay.
McKillip said the the resort is a big supporter of the U.S. men and women overseas who serve in the military and already 70 families from 33 states have signed up for a stay, she said.
McKillip said the offer is good through Oct. 15th, but may be extended because of the veterans response.
"The response from veterans so far has blown me away. I am touched by the humility and gratitude that has come from these people -- when they are the ones that we should be thanking." said McKillip.
To sign up, give Joan McKillip a call at 888-298-1132, ext.112.
